A recurring theme in my life is my passion for anything maritime. As a sailing enthousiast I started my ship chandlery business in 1964, which i ran until 1995.
Since then I have turned to the painting of sailing ships, harbourviews and coastal landscapes.
Through my practical knowledge of sailing, I have developed my own realistic style of painting in which the use of colour gives the subjects an almost nostalgic, romantic feel.
The paintings are on display in my workshop.
